Charles Roscopf is the founder of Scratch Consulting, LLC. Roscopf also serves as the Vice President and Controller of Bluescape Group, an alternative investment firm based in Dallas, TX.

Prior to founding Scratch Consulting and joining Bluescape, Roscopf served as a Controller at Beneficient, a niche provider of liquidity to holders of alternative assets. While at Beneficient, he assisted with various aspects of the company’s 2023 de-SPAC transaction and was heavily involved in the accounting and reporting for other complex transactions, including debt and equity issuances, asset exchanges, spinoffs, and acquisitions and dispositions, among others.

Previously, Roscopf was a Vice President at Hilltop Holdings, a Texas-based financial services company. During his tenure at Hilltop Holdings, Roscopf was responsible for SEC reporting, bank regulatory reporting, stock compensation accounting and administration, and technical accounting.

Roscopf began his career at EY where he spent six years serving audit clients primarily in the real estate industry. While at EY, Roscopf participated in a global rotation program and spent the summer of 2015 in São Paulo, Brazil where he shared knowledge and best practices with his Brazilian audit colleagues.

Roscopf earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Accounting, where he graduated cum laude, and a Master of Accountancy from the University of Arkansas. He is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Texas.
